What the city does — and who does the rest
The City of Athol provides water, streets, parks and the cemetery. City Hall handles all utility billing, payments and account changes.
Private companies provide electricity, natural gas, telephone, internet and TV. Policing is contracted with the Kootenai County Sheriff, and the Timberlake Fire Protection District covers fire protection.
